Jefferson Davis Pie recipe discovered (again)
not long ago by my dear friend Virginia Marcum:
lovingly known as: "Granny"

Whole wheat
honey & molasses
chocolate chip bread
and more...

Jefferson Davis Pie:
1 and a half cups of sugar
1/3 cup of real butter
1 cup of milk
4 tablespoons flour
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
Blend all ingredients thoroughly
and bake in an unbaked pie shell
at 350 degrees for 55 to 65 minutes...
or until mixture is solid.
Cool & serve with real whipped cream
and a cup of freshly brewed coffee, etc.

5 Minute Microwave Chocolate Cake:
4 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons chocolate chips,
walnuts, &/or whatever...
*add a small dash of real vanilla
Blend all ingredients in a large
microwave-safe coffee mug
and microwave for 3 minutes
at 1000 watts:
Cool & serve
with a cup of coffee or ice cold milk...
and enjoy a chocolate cake bake
when you feel the need
a quick-chocolate fix

Granny Marcum's Banana Nut Bread:
2 cups sugar
1 half cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
4 tsp buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 to 4 large over-ripe bananas mashed
*add chopped nuts:
Pour ingredients in whatever kind
of baking pan that blows your dress up 
and bake for 15 minutes or so at 300 degrees
